Introduction
Cisco Intersight is a cloud operations platform offering modular capabilities for advanced infrastructure management, workload optimization, and Kubernetes services. It provides comprehensive deployment, monitoring, management, and support for both physical and virtual infrastructure, including Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS), Cisco HyperFlex hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), and various third-party Intersight-connected resources. Functionality levels may vary depending on the resource type.
OpsRamp enables the discovery of Cisco Intersight resources and enhances visibility into their interconnections.
Cisco Intersight resource types supported by OpsRamp:
- Cisco Intersight Organization
- Cisco Intersight IAM Account
- Cisco Intersight Chassis
- Cisco Intersight Compute Blades
- Cisco Intersight Fan Modules
- Cisco Intersight Fans
- Cisco Intersight IoCards
- Cisco Intersight Compute Rack Units
- Cisco Intersight Adapter Units
- Cisco Intersight PCI Devices
- Cisco Intersight Equipment PSUs
- Cisco Intersight Fabric Interconnects
Configure the Integration
From All Clients, select a client.
Navigate to Setup > Account.
Select the Integrations tab.
The Installed Integrations page, where all the installed applications are displayed.
Note: If there are no installed applications, it will navigate to the ADD APP page.Click + ADD on the Installed Integrations page. The Available Integrations page displays all the available applications along with the newly created application with the version.
Note: You can even search for the application using the search option available. Also you can use the All Categories option to search.Click ADD under Cisco Intersight:

In the ADD Cisco Intersight page, enter your account information:

Field Description Name (required) User-defined, descriptive integration name. Account Number (required) Enter any random integer to identify the integration uniquely. API Key ID (required) Input the API Key ID obtained from Cisco Intersight. Secret Key File Upload the PEM file saved from Cisco Intersight for secure access. Click Next.
In the RESOURCE TYPE section, select:
- ALL: All the existing and future resources will be discovered.
- SELECT: You can select one or multiple resources to be discovered.
In the DISCOVERY SCHEDULE section, select Recurrence Pattern to add one of the following patterns:
- Minutes
- Hourly
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
Click FINISH.The application is now installed and displayed on the Installed Integration page. Use the search field to find the installed application.

- After configuring the integration, the Cisco Intersight metrics can be viewed from the Infrastructure > Resource page.
